GEQ Final conference in Warsaw, 19th April 2016

Does the gender equality in the family life, at school, in the labour market affect our health, a sense of happiness, well-being and life satisfaction? What is the role of gender equality in creating an egalitarian society? How should we shape the public policies so as to promote the development of equal and egalitarian society?

We are inviting you to join a discussion, exchange know-how, ideas and views on the gender equality and quality of life during the conference


How Gender Equality can contribute to Development in Europe.

A study of Poland and Norway

to be held on 19 April 2016, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., in the conference room of the Stefan Batory Foundation at 10a Sapieżyńska street in Warsaw.

The Conference will offer an opportunity to present the results and findings of the Polish nation-wide research carried out in 2015 on a representative sample of Polish women and men, investigating the effects of gender equality in various areas of life on people's satisfaction with life and their health. In the latter part of the Conference, the invited experts will comment on the research results viewed from the perspective of public policies regarding gender equality.

The conference is bilingual (in Polish, with English translation)
